The landmark Columbia Restaurant in Tampa’s Historic Ybor City has been family-owned and operated for more than 112 years.

The oldest restaurant in Florida and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world, the Columbia features internationally known Spanish/Cuban cuisine

Today, 4th & 5th generation family members work hard to preserve and extend the family’s legacy that patriarch Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. began when he opened the Columbia in 1905 as a small 60-seat corner café frequented by local cigar workers.

Over the years the Columbia has expanded and grown to include 15 dining rooms, with seating for up to 1,700 people. The restaurant has a total of 52,000 square feet, and encompasses an entire city block. There are now seven Columbia restaurants and cafes in Florida, as well as four other successful restaurant concepts.

At the Columbia, guests enjoy a menu that includes some century-old family recipes, dishes such as Paella “A la Valenciana,” Snapper “Alicante,” and the Original “1905” Salad®. Enjoy a flamenco dance show during dinner.

Sample a fine wine from the more than 1,000 wines on the award-winning wine list. Partially funded by the sale of private label wines, the Gonzmart Family Foundation donates $500,000 a year to the advanced prostate cancer collaboration at Moffitt Cancer Center, a minimum of $20,000 annually to the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital for oncology research, and helps fund the Adela & Cesar Gonzmart Endowed Memorial Scholarship at the University of South Florida.Reserve a Table at Columbia Restaurant Tampa, FL DiRoNA Awarded Restaurant
