Rustica specializes in rustic European cuisine using local farmers and vendors whenever possible (Farm To Table). With an emphasis on fresh, sustainable and local products, Rustica blends influences from France, Italy, Spain and other European countries with regional Michigan fare. The food at Rustica is simple, fresh, and delicious.

Chef de Cuisine/Partner Chris Kidd is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.  Chris makes house-cured or smoked meats, pasta, stocks, soups, desserts, pickled vegetables, and everything else from scratch daily.  In addition to our regular a la carte menu which changes seasonally, Chris offers a weekly Artisanal Menu to highlight the wonderful products available from our partner farms.  If you are a true foodie…Rustica is for you!

Our beverage program at Rustica is structured to highlight the food.  With many wines by the glass and over 200 wines by the bottle, our wine program is deep with unusual and highly allocated wines.  Our beer selection is founded on Michigan craft beer by the bottle or draft, accompanied by beers from Europe and North America.  Rustica also offers spirits including absinthe, Amaro, single malt scotch, single barrel bourbon, sherry, ports, and locally roasted artisan French press coffee.
