Located in the SoMa district of San Francisco, Alexander’s Steakhouse features a meticulously curated beef program with emphasis placed on highlighting small farms from the US, Australia, and Japan. Alexander’s Steakhouse features Greater Omaha Prime beef, dry-aged for 28 days resulting in unmatched flavor and texture. Imported and domestic wagyu also play a prominent role in our menu as we offer Japanese beef from nine prefectures.
Alexander’s Steakhouse is one out of only a handful of restaurants in the US that has been certified and licensed to serve Authentic Kobe beef by the Kobe Beef Association in Japan.

THE WINE LIBRARY
Located on the lower level of the restaurant, the Wine Library is the perfect venue for groups of 10-70. The room features built-in wireless AV system, as well as private men and ladies’ rooms. Our dramatic floor-to-ceiling wine display is the focal point as guests enter, and wine remains the theme throughout the room. Soft lighting and warm, rich colors ensure a pleasant experience. The room may be reconfigured for theater-style seating, board meetings, wine tastings, and performances.
Accommodates: comfortably seats up to 40 guests; up to 70 for a cocktail reception.
THE BOARD ROOM
Located on the Mezzanine level overlooking the Main Dining Room, the private Board Room is ideal for small parties seeking an intimate gourmet experience with a private pre-dinner reception. Our hand-carved mahogany board table accommodates up to 10 guests. Gorgeous custom shoji screens open onto the bustling dining room below or may be closed for privacy. The room features a large flat-screen television for presentations.
Accommodates: up to 20 for a seated dinner; up to 25 for a cocktail reception.
Located on the upper level overlooking the Main Dining Room below, the semi-private Mezzanine features exposed brick walls with large arched windows in a loft-like setting. Heavy draperies and custom shoji screens may be closed for privacy if desired.
Accommodates: comfortably seats up to 20 guests; up to 30 for a cocktail reception.
