The Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRōNA) and their partners ECOLAB are excited to announce the induction of Gary Wollerman, proprietor of GW Fins restaurant, as the latest addition to our esteemed Hall of Fame. The celebratory induction ceremony was held on Monday, September 18, at GW Fins. In attendance were Gary’s closest friends and family, as well as existing Hall of Fame inductees from across North America.

DiRōNA CEO Scott Breard praised Wollerman, stating, “For many years, Gary has been a stalwart in the hospitality industry. His exceptional commitment to enhancing the lives of young people in New Orleans sets him apart as truly extraordinary. We consider it an honor to add Gary’s name to our Hall of Fame, where he joins an illustrious list of acclaimed restaurateurs and industry luminaries.”

Reacting to the honor, Gary Wollerman expressed his gratitude: “I have never thought of myself as someone who would be in a restaurant hall of fame, but I am honored and humbled by the recognition and very appreciative of the DiRoNA organization for acknowledging what myself and our entire team provide each evening at GW Fins.”

Shelly Garner, the Assistant Vice President of Industry Relations at Ecolab, was present to bestow the Hall of Fame plaque upon Gary. He is committed to creating an exceptional dining experience for each guest who walks through the doors at GW Fins. Formed in 1993, eligibility for the DiRōNA Hall of Fame is determined by stringent criteria. Inductees must have a minimum of 25 years of unwavering service in the hospitality sector and have made noteworthy contributions to their local communities.
